What you need for Fantrax
Your league URL
Open the league in Fantrax and copy its address. If Secret ID discovery finds nothing, load the league by URL instead.
Access to the requested data
Some matchup and transaction information requires the league to be publicly viewable. If that data is unavailable, ask your commissioner about visibility or use the data the league does expose.
Your format-specific rules
Salary fields may be returned, but complete contract terms and forecasts are not guaranteed. Supply missing keeper costs or contract rules yourself when they affect the decision.

Suppose the returned player pool lists an available defenseman at a salary of 5, and you tell the assistant you have 8 of cap room.
Check the missing rules
The arithmetic leaves 3 of cap room, but only if your league charges that listed salary. Confirm waiver pricing, roster eligibility, and any drop penalty from your league rules.
Make a conditional decision
Ask whether the player addresses your category needs and whether the cap assumption holds. The assistant should state the assumptions; you submit any move in Fantrax.

Once the connector is added, asking questions works fine from your phone.
