What you need to use ChatGPT with your leagues
Your fantasy league access
Sleeper needs a username. Public ESPN leagues use a league URL; private ESPN leagues also need your espn_s2 and SWID cookies. Follow the Fantrax guide for its league access requirements.
The right team and season
Choose the leagues you want ChatGPT to read. Select your team for personal roster checks, or leave it unselected for a league overview. Verify the season in the first response.
The sports each platform covers
ESPN and Fantrax cover NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL. Sleeper covers NFL and NBA. Fields differ too: Sleeper NFL league projections can be calculated for an explicit regular-season week, with coverage limits labeled. Sleeper ownership is unavailable, and the Fantrax head-to-head schedule is limited to public leagues.

Ask ChatGPT to list your connected leagues, providers, seasons and selected teams. If a league is absent, return to setup and check the account, sport and season.
Read before recommending
Load the selected roster, scoring and returned matchup information. If a field or section is missing, have ChatGPT name it rather than fill it in from memory.
Choose one decision
Ask for one lineup concern or compare an available player with a proposed drop. Keep provider facts, outside news and recommendations separate. Make any move yourself in the fantasy platform.

Adding League Loom gives ChatGPT access to the supported league data you select. Without that connection, it cannot inspect your private roster or waiver pool; pasted screenshots are only snapshots.
Is ChatGPT with League Loom free?
League Loom is free, with no connector subscription or per-league fee. ChatGPT has its own plan and remote-connector requirements. A workspace administrator may also control access.
Which fantasy platforms work with ChatGPT?
League Loom connects ESPN, Sleeper and Fantrax. Sports and available fields vary by provider. Sleeper supports NFL and NBA; use ESPN or Fantrax for MLB and NHL.
What should I ask ChatGPT first?
Ask it to list connected leagues, seasons and selected teams, then load one roster and its scoring settings. Confirm the result describes your current league before asking for lineup or waiver advice.
Why is my league missing or the connection failing?
Check the provider, sport, season and account used in setup. For private ESPN leagues, refresh expired espn_s2 and SWID cookies and reconnect. If the AI account cannot add a remote connector, check its access requirements or workspace settings.
Can ChatGPT change my lineup through League Loom?
No. All current League Loom tools retrieve or analyze data. Review the recommendation and make any lineup change, waiver claim or trade in your fantasy platform.
