A free Flaim alternative, with Fantrax
League Loom and Flaim both connect your fantasy leagues to AI, read-only. The difference: League Loom adds Fantrax (which Flaim does not cover), works with Claude, ChatGPT, and any MCP tool rather than ChatGPT alone, and is free. Flaim's edge is Yahoo, which League Loom does not support yet. If you play on Fantrax or want to use Claude or Cursor, League Loom is the fit; if you need Yahoo today, Flaim is.
Both are read-only AI connectors. Here is how they line up:
| League Loom | Flaim | |
|---|---|---|
| Fantrax | Yes | No |
| AI tools | Claude, ChatGPT, any MCP | ChatGPT |
| ESPN and Sleeper | Yes | Yes |
| Yahoo | Coming later | Yes |
Reading your Fantrax category league, something most AI tools cannot do:
| Category | You | Rank |
|---|---|---|
| Steals | 1.6 / gm | 9th |
| Threes | 12.4 / gm | 4th |
| FT% | .812 | 3rd |
League Loom works in Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. Across your three leagues this week:

Why League Loom
Flaim connects ESPN, Yahoo, and Sleeper to ChatGPT, read-only. League Loom covers ESPN and Sleeper too, but adds Fantrax, which most AI fantasy tools skip, and connects over MCP so it works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-capable tools rather than ChatGPT alone. It is free, and your credentials are sealed into your own encrypted connection rather than stored in a database. The honest trade-off is Yahoo: Flaim supports it today and League Loom does not yet, so if Yahoo is your only league, Flaim is the better fit. For Fantrax players, multi-tool users, or anyone who wants a free option, League Loom is built for you.
