A flagged starting goalie can prompt a check of bench goalies and available goalies. A healthy status does not establish that a goalie will start tonight.
A personal team is optional. The report uses a league overview when no team is identified, with returned standings, matchup summaries, and recent moves.

Start with points versus category scoring, then separate skater and goalie needs. Confirm goalie minimums, ratio categories, and lineup rules when they are not returned.
Review depth across forwards, defensemen, and goalies. Use returned draft history or salary fields where available, and supply missing keeper costs and rules. Treat prior-season totals as historical context.
Ask for roster checks, returned matchup information, recent moves, and available-player candidates. The weekly digest samples candidates by position need and provider order; it is not a complete player ranking or projection model.

Per-player stat categories are returned only where a provider or public player research exposes them. ESPN player lookups can include season actual and projected values for up to five players per call, keyed by ESPN stat IDs rather than category names. Fantrax available-player data in viewable leagues can include the league's stat columns, but rostered Fantrax players come back without them. Check returned values against your platform before exact category math. Matchup reads summarize team scores rather than a category-by-category breakdown. Category matchup forecasts, full NHL game schedules, power-play deployment, and confirmed goalie starts are not supplied. Verify starts and roles separately before recommending a stream. Fantrax matchup and transaction coverage can depend on public league visibility.

A goalie listed as healthy and available is only a candidate. Confirm the real NHL schedule, expected starter, and lineup eligibility using current sources. Do not count an unconfirmed appearance toward a minimum.
Compare the likely benefit with the player you would drop and any returned FAAB or waiver priority. State missing evidence and assumptions, then make any move yourself on the provider.

Draft season
League Loom gives Claude or ChatGPT the league context a hockey draft turns on: your ESPN or Fantrax scoring settings, skater and goalie slots, keepers and salaries where returned, and the draft results as picks are made. The assistant weighs forwards, defensemen and goalies against those rules and labels any outside rankings or news as research. Sleeper hockey is not supported.
Points leagues and category leagues value goalies very differently. Confirm goalie minimums and ratio categories such as save percentage from the returned settings, or supply them if they are missing.
Center, wing, defense and utility slots and bench size come back where the provider exposes them, which is how the assistant judges whether a position is scarce in your league.
Fantrax returns a current salary for rostered players, and ESPN draft results can flag keepers. Supply contract terms and keeper costs that are not returned.
ESPN player lookups can include ESPN projections, ADP and average auction values. Fantrax available-player data can include ADP and, in viewable leagues, the league's stat columns, but Fantrax does not return league-scored projections.
