Your league context, in Meta Muse

Use Muse for fantasy football

Bring your ESPN, Sleeper or Fantrax fantasy football league into Meta Muse with League Loom.

Start a chat, ask Muse to create a custom connector, and use League Loom's setup page to choose your leagues. Then ask about your roster, waivers or matchup using your own scoring rules. League Loom is free and its tools are read-only.

What you need before you connect

Access to Muse

Use Meta's Muse personal agent. This guide covers a custom connector requested in chat, not Muse Code. Muse availability and account requirements are set by Meta.

Your fantasy league

Sleeper NFL uses a username or league URL. Fantrax uses a league URL, with an optional Secret ID. Public ESPN leagues use a URL; private ESPN leagues also need espn_s2 and SWID cookies. Enter provider credentials only on League Loom's setup page.

A private connection token

The token returned by /setup gives access to your connected league data and works like a password. Never include it in a shared URL, screenshot, support message or ordinary AI chat. Preview tokens and production tokens belong to different environments.

Get connected

From your league to your AI tool

1

Ask Muse to connect

Open a chat in Muse and copy the setup prompt below. It names the public server URL, https://leagueloom.com/mcp. Ask through chat rather than looking for a custom-connector settings form.

2

Complete League Loom setup

Open the setup wizard below in your browser. This is League Loom's /setup page, not a Muse slash command. Choose ESPN, Sleeper or Fantrax, load your leagues, check the season and select your team. Keep write access off. Finish setup and copy your connection token.

3

Authorize privately, then check

When Muse needs the token, request its secure credential-entry flow and enter it yourself there. Do not paste it into an ordinary chat message. Review the requested access, then ask Muse to list your connected leagues and confirm the right team before giving advice. If no secure entry is offered, stop before sharing the token.

Copy this into a Muse chat

Create a custom connector named League Loom for the remote MCP server at https://leagueloom.com/mcp using Streamable HTTP. I will choose my fantasy leagues at https://leagueloom.com/setup. For authentication, request my League Loom connection token through your secure credential-entry flow and use it as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Never ask me to paste the token into ordinary chat or put it in a URL. Keep access read-only. After I approve the connection, list my connected leagues and ask me to confirm my team and season before giving advice.

This prompt contains only public URLs. Your connection token belongs in a private credential-entry flow, never in this prompt.

Worked example

Start with one lineup decision

Illustrative workflow, not a recorded Muse session. This guide uses League Loom's owner's reported chat-based setup. A complete League Loom connection in Muse has not been independently tested for this guide.

  1. Confirm the league first

Ask Muse to list your connected leagues and confirm your NFL team, season and scoring period. If you left the team unselected during setup, start with a league overview.

  2. Name the choice

Ask which of two eligible players belongs in your flex slot. Have Muse read the roster, scoring settings and available lock information before comparing them.

  3. Check the evidence, make the move

Ask for the reason, missing fields and separately cited injury or schedule news. Confirm any unknown lock status in your fantasy app. Set the lineup yourself.

More about this connection

League Loom supplies league data; Muse explains the options. Coverage depends on the provider, sport and fields returned.

Ask Muse to flag missing data and separate current outside research from your league's records. You make lineup, waiver and trade moves yourself.

The League Loom steps also follow our current /setup and Bearer-token implementation. We have not verified Muse's exact token-entry screen or completed a live connection for this guide.

Questions, answered

How do I connect League Loom to Muse?

Ask Muse in chat to create a custom connector for https://leagueloom.com/mcp. Complete the League Loom /setup page to choose your leagues. Provide the resulting token yourself through Muse's secure credential-entry flow when offered, then review the access request and verify your connected team. Do not paste the token into ordinary chat. This is the owner's reported workflow; a complete Muse connection has not been independently tested for this guide.

Where do I paste my League Loom token?

Use the secure credential-entry flow Muse provides for the connection, after checking the destination and requested access. Ask for that flow if Muse asks for a token in chat. If it is unavailable, stop before sharing the token. Never append a token to the MCP server URL. The server expects it in the Authorization header as a Bearer token.

Is League Loom an official Meta Muse connector?

This guide describes a custom connection requested in chat. It does not claim a Meta-reviewed directory listing or endorsement. A custom connection does not establish a reviewed directory listing.

Can Muse make lineup changes or submit waivers through League Loom?

League Loom currently exposes read-only tools. It can provide the roster, scoring and available-player context for advice, but it does not set your lineup, submit claims or accept trades. Make those moves in your fantasy platform.

Does this also cover fantasy basketball?

The same connection can read supported NBA leagues on ESPN, Sleeper and Fantrax. Select NBA and verify your league's season during setup. Consult the capabilities page for the fields available on each platform.

What if Muse cannot read my leagues?

Check that the MCP URL and token came from the same League Loom environment and that Muse is sending the token in the Authorization header. A preview token will not work on the production server. If you edited and saved an existing setup, replace the older token in the client. For expired ESPN access, refresh the cookies on League Loom's setup page. Do not include any token or cookie when asking for help.

Is League Loom free with Muse?

League Loom has no paid tier, subscription or per-league fee. Fair-use request budgets apply. Muse has its own account requirements and terms; check Meta for current availability.
