NBA drafts run through October. League Loom reads ESPN and Fantrax basketball leagues, including category scoring and Fantrax salaries, so a category build or a cap budget starts from your league rather than a generic ranking.
ESPN returns the most settings
Full scoring, lineup slots, and ESPN's own projections come through the connector, so the assistant can show where the app's default ranks misprice a player for your rules. Private leagues need your own espn_s2 and SWID.
Sleeper is built for dynasty
A username is the whole setup. Your roster, scoring, last season's draft, and platform-wide trending adds come back, which is what a rookie-only draft actually turns on. Keeper costs are not exposed, so the assistant asks.

ESPN exposes full scoring settings, lineup slots, and its own projections, so the assistant can re-rank the board for a TE premium or a category league and show where ESPN's defaults misprice somebody. Where do the projections come from?
Two places, and the assistant labels both. ESPN's own projections come through League Loom. Everything else, including ADP outside Fantrax and outside projections, is researched by the AI from public fantasy sources and identified as research rather than league data.
What do I need to connect for each platform?
Sleeper needs only your username, because its league data is public. A public ESPN league needs nothing; a private one needs your own espn_s2 and SWID cookies, sealed into your encrypted connection. Fantrax takes your league URL, because account discovery by Secret ID often returns nothing.
Can it make my picks for me?
